Teri Schopfer, JD

Teri L. Champ serves as General Counsel of CancerLinQ, a wholly-owned subsidiary of American Society of Clinical Oncology, Inc. (ASCO). There, she also serves as Senior Counsel and Division Director to ASCO. Her practice focuses on strategic and commercial transactions, intellectual property, big data, health information technology, and corporate governance.

Teri was named as one of DC’s top corporate counsel by DCA Live in 2018, one of DC’s Rising Stars by Super Lawyers in 2015 and 2016, one of Washington’s top “40 Lawyers Under 40” in 2015 by Legal Bisnow and Trending 40.

Previously, Teri served as Senior Counsel with Foley & Lardner LLP where she practiced corporate and business law with an emphasis on mergers and acquisitions, federal securities law, licensing, and corporate governance. She has assisted both emerging and established public and private acquirers and targets in mergers and acquisitions transactions, international transactions, and general business and corporate governance matters. She has represented a broad range of clients with diverse interests and needs, including public companies, smaller reporting companies and closely-held corporations. With respect to general business counseling, Teri has a particular focus on transactions in the healthcare space.

Teri is pleased to serve on the Board of AIM Health given its work in whole-body health for the underserved, evidence-based approach to care, and the applications of integrative medicine in the oncology space.
