AIM is the first 501(c)(3) nonprofit in the Washington, D.C. area dedicated to providing integrative medicine to low-income and terminally ill patients, regardless of their ability to pay. By blending conventional care with complementary therapies, AIM takes a compassionate approach to healing, addressing the biological, psychological, social, and spiritual aspects of health. Our mission is to care for the whole person, not just the symptoms, bringing hope and relief to those in need.

Services

Supported by grants and donations, AIM Health Institute works to provide integrative medical care for under-served, low-income populations and terminally ill patients, regardless of ability to pay.

Research & Education

Educating the public and healthcare professionals on integrative medicine. Empowering the public by providing self-care tools. Providing training & practice opportunities to medical students and integrative medicine practitioners.

Need & Impact

In Washington, DC, there are many places that offer integrative services, but they are often boutique, unaffiliated with larger medical institutions, high-cost, and unable to take insurance (Medicare and Medicaid).
