Angela Gabriel, L.Ac.

My passion to educate the general public about Integrative Medicine, including Chinese Medicine, has brought me to AIM Health Institute.  I dream about making treatments and services available to everybody in need, independent of their socioeconomic status.  I aspire to bring my energy, compassion, knowledge of Integrative Medicine, interpersonal communication skills, and love for justice and equanimity to AIM Health Institute.

 

Angela works as an Acupuncturist and Chinese Medicine provider at GW Center for Integrative Medicine.  Angela received her Master’s of Science in Biochemistry from Moscow University and her Master’s of Science in Oriental Medicine from New York College for Health Professions.  She is an NCCOAM Board Certified Diplomat of Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine and a licensed acupuncturist in Washington, DC.  In addition, Angela holds certificates in Chinese Herbal Medicine and Aromatherapy in Chinese Medicine.  Angela currently serves as a Japanese-style acupuncturist at the GW Center for Integrative Medicine.  She is a Somatic Experience Practitioner in Training, and hopes to work with her patients on traumatic memories and their effects on health.  She previously conducted clinical research on acupuncture at Columbia University in New York City, NY, and ran private acupuncture practices in New York City and Washington, DC.
