Announcing HEAART: Healing Education Arts and Advocacy Round Table

The GW Office of Integrative Medicine and Health, AIM Health Institute, and LabX of the National Academy of Sciences invite you to join us for HEAART—Healing Education Art Advocacy Round Table.

HEAART is a new discussion series to bring together healthcare practitioners, advocates, administrators, and, most importantly, patients to explore pressing issues of healthcare through holistic interdisciplinary discussion and engagement. These events are free and open to the public.

The topic will be “The Effects of Cannabis on Society.” The moderator will be J.D. Talasek, director of Cultural Programs of the National Academy of Sciences (CPNAS), in Washington, D.C. CPNAS is focused on the exploration of the intersections between science, medicine, technology, and visual culture.
